Electrical Tests
All the electrical equipment in the theatre is subject to regular Inspection and test. The permanent wiring is handled by outside contractors, but we inspect and test all the portable equipment.
The frequency and depth of the tests, together with the results, are held in a database associated with the CAODS website. Any member of CAODS can accesss this by logging in to the members area and clicking the EIT pages link.
Only designated members are allowed to carry out the scheduled tests or inspections and update the results.
